JED ROWE

Jed brings his 32 years’ experience assessing environmental concerns in the oil and gas industry to the SDS team. Jed is an invaluable tool that allows SDS to provide a unique service to our clients and a service that could save an operator tens of thousands of dollars in fines. Jed specializes in wetland, WUS determination, and delineation surveys. He also handles WUS mitigation, wetland restoration and enhancement, and threatened and endangered species surveys and assessments. Jed also will ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and legislation, including the Endangered Species and Clean Water Acts.

Jed has conducted over 51,000 wetlands determinations and surveyed over 200 listed endangered species across 37 different states. Jed will also obtain permits for authorization as needed. Jed has also represented operators in court and successfully demonstrated compliance with regulations and has negotiated penalties with government agencies. Jed received his Bachelor of Science in agriculture from the Texas A&M University in 1984 and was conferred a Master of Science in biology and plant ecology from the Stephen F. Austin State University in 1991. Jed is also a USACE-certified wetland delineator.
